NutriFit at The Park Club
Nutrifit4life (formerly Diets4us) will be launching their proven weight loss course at The Park Club on 20th February. Initially courses will run on Mondays between mid-morning and lunchtime.
If you want to get NutriFit come and join us and lose weight the fun, healthy way. We have been working in and around Didcot for almost 10 years and have helped many people achieve lasting weight loss the healthy way.
Our 4-week courses (5 weigh-ins) are designed to be simple to follow (no weighing and measuring) and include lots of recipes, meal ideas, individual weekly weigh-ins and food diary reviews. In addition, there is email support during each week and additional support is only a phone call away if needed. We offer one to one weigh-ins from 11.30am to 12.45pm. There will be a weekly group session between 12.00 and 12.10pm, which is a valuable opportunity to discuss the weight loss plan, share ideas and recipes and get group support, we encourage all to attend. If you want to use the gym you can book a timed weigh-in or just drop in as suits you (week 1 will work slightly differently as we will take body stats and the group session will last about 20 minutes, we will email details when you join the course).
If you follow the course correctly you should comfortably achieve a weight loss of 8lbs and many achieve more. We measure inches and body fat percentage as well so you can see exactly how much you have achieved. The introductory cost of the course is £35 for members and £55 to non-members who will be able to use the gym on each Monday during the course.

Zumbathon - Friday 24th Feb

The Park Club are hosting a Zumbathon on Friday 24th February 2012 starting at 6pm, the event is in aid of Cancer Research UK. Message from the Event Organiser Sam Woodbridge, Group Fitness Coordinator at The Park Club “One of my New Year resolutions was to do something for charity this year; many of my friends have been affected by Breast Cancer in some way or another. Zumba is very popular, and a great way to have fun and keep fit so I thought let’s do 3 hours and raise money! There has been an overwhelming response and the event is full with 200 people booked on”.
Poolside Shower Update

**Poolside Shower Update**
During the routine maintenance on the showers we have taken the opportunity to bring forward our development plans and update the shower area. This will include new showers, tiled walls and floor. The area will now re-open on Thursday 26th January.
During this period alternative showers can be found in the gym changing areas.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sports Hall
Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to close the sports hall. We are waiting for repairs to be carried out on the roof. As soon as we have further details we will update you via the website.
Because of the hall closure we will be unable to run Super Circuit Classes or take any bookings for the hall at this time. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this will cause you.
Maintenance
Due to maintenance needed on the poolside showers we are having to close the showers from 8pm on Tuesday 17th January and will re-open on Friday 20th January. During this time other shower facilities can be found in the gym changing rooms.

Update on status of poolside showers
Due to unforeseen circumstances the delivery of the new drainage system and showers have been delayed by the supplier and have unfortunately put us behind schedule.
We will open the area on Saturday 28th January with 4 showers in operation. The remaining showers will be installed as soon as they get delivered and we will keep you informed of the date as soon as we receive it.
