Sports massage is not just for sports people! It is also an excellent treatment for relieving the aches and pains of life’s daily stresses; headaches, stiff neck and shoulders, back pain; alleviating feelings of joint stiffness/muscle tightness; treating repetitive strain injuries brought on by work or sport; and increasing joint flexibility and range of motion. However, it is great to add sports massage to your workout routine as it can seriously improve your performance. As the training and playing hours pile up, so do the aches and pains. Regular bodywork will help alleviate pain. It will also enhance body awareness and relax and mind and body.
Nicola studied with Pulse Training Solutions in Oxford, UK and is currently registered as a member with the professionally and industry recognised Sports Massage Association (SMA). She specialises in sports and remedial massage, but is also trained and a freelance make-up artist.
