We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new CrossFit, Hyrox, and Functional Fitness area at The Park Club. Designed with the modern fitness enthusiast in mind, Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the area offers a variety of intense and challenging workouts to push your limits and achieve your fitness goals. Whether you're a seasoned CrossFitter, a Hyrox competitor looking to improve your performance, or simply seeking a high-intensity workout, our new area provides the perfect environment to challenge and transform your body.

Please ask the class coach if it is possible to use the space when classes are on.

Class Descriptions

  • Specifically targeted towards the Hyrox Competition, but also great for overall fitness. Hyrox is a fitness race that combines both running and functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated 8 times. Classes are designed to improve overall fitness levels through a variety of movements, and training intensities. All classes are periodised and programmed accordingly, so weโ€™re working towards targets the whole time. Don't forget we get early access to tickets as weโ€™re an affiliated gym.

  • Training specific to CrossFit. A wide variety of movements involved from Olympic Lifting to Gymnastics delivered by qualified CrossFit coaches. A great way to improve your strength, conditioning, and overall fitness levels. This class is for those who are confident with CrossFit movements, and those who have attended the CrossFit Foundation Course. All classes are periodised, programmed, and progressive โ€“ with a combination of CrossFit WODs alongside this to get a sweat on.

  • A 6-week course for beginners designed to prepare you for CrossFit Training classes, and Team WOD. Starting with the basics and building our way up together as a group! On completion of this course, you will be able to attend CrossFit Training classes and feel a lot more confident with CrossFit movements. CrossFit is great for improving strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. With so many different movements and formats, no class will be the same!

  • A very sociable functional fitness class on a Saturday morning. Inclusion of pair and team WODs โ€“ giving this class loads of variety and very high energy, with breakfast provided afterwards. Suitable for those who have attended the CrossFit Foundation Course or have prior experience within CrossFit. A great way to kick-start the weekend.

  • A circuit-based class to improve your core strength and muscular endurance โ€“ and achieve maximum results. Suitable for those who want to push themselves as far as possible! Comprising of a range of bodyweight, dumbbells and kettlebells exercises to build your overall strength and endurance, led by a former military physical training instructor.

  • A 30-minute, small group class focusing on a specific skill each week through a rotation. The perfect way to improve upon any weaknesses, and to nail your technique within these movements. A great way to feel more confident whilst training! Suitable for all ability levels.

  • Training sessions for those aged 5 - 17 led by a CrossFit Kids coach. A great way into fitness, improving your overall health, sports performance levels and meeting new people.
